Dublin Green Roofs

How many Green Roofs in Dublin?  This one at the Fitzwillian Hotel on St Stephen's Green is billed as 'Ireland's Largest Roof Garden', but is it the best designed?   What on earth is that twiddly spiral for?  Are we going to see the skyline of Dublin transformed into a paradise of buzzing bees and low cost vegetables?  The new Dublin City Council Green Roof Draft Guidelines by Tepui are a step in the right direction.

Carbon Neutral Naas

A study dealing with the problems of carbon emissions in Ireland.  Carbon Neutral Naas proposes that  planting trees around Naas a carbon sink is impractical due to the area needed by the plantations to fully 'soak up' the carbon dioxide.  We propose a vertical solution that would really put Naas on the map....
